What is Agriculture?

Agriculture is defined as the science of growing crops and rearing farm animals, also known as livestock, to provide food, raw materials, and other essential products for human use.

In a broad sense, agriculture involves the cultivation of crops, raising and breeding of livestock, provision of raw materials for industries, processing, storage, and marketing of agricultural products.
