Who was Charles Babbage?
Charles Babbage (1791-1871) an English mathematician, is called the “Father of Computers” because of his designs of mechanical computers. He designed two classes of engines, Difference Engines, and Analytical Engines.
He was a professor of mathematics who was the first to develop modern computer machinery, which never worked during his lifetime.
