- Factors that Could Predispose Farm Animals to Diseases
The infection of farm animals by organisms causing disease depends on many factors known as predisposing or stressing factors. These factors can reduce the resistance of a host animal to a disease. Therefore, predisposing factors may refer to factors that make an animal to be prone to disease attack.
