Control of Endo-Parasites

(i) Rotational grazing should be practised

(ii) Good sanitation of the animal houses

(iii) Regular de-worming of the animals

(iv) Observation of animals is required

(v) Vaccination should be practiced

(vi) Meat should be properly cooked before eating.

(vii) Liver fluke Control: Destroy snails (secondary hosts) by treating surrounding water with copper sulphate.

(viii) Regular and routine treatment of animals with drugs like Albendazole (Valbazen). It can be administered by drenching. It is effective against all intestinal worms including liver fluke.
