Classification of Farm Animals is based on the following: Size, Habitat, Stomach type or whether they are Mammals or Non-Mammals.
(a) Based on Size:
Under this classification, Animals can be grouped into two;
(i) Large Animals: These farm animals are tall and mostly fat. They are relatively big in size.
Examples include; cattle, horses, sheep, goats, camels, pigs, donkeys, etc.
(ii) Small Animals: These farm animals have small body sizes. They are easy to house and manage.
