Reproductive System
The reproductive system is the group of organs responsible for producing offspring and ensuring the continuation of life. In humans, the male and female reproductive systems work together to produce reproductive cells and support reproduction.
The reproductive system consists of different organs in males and females, each with specific functions that help in reproduction and maintaining reproductive health.
Performance Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, you should be able to:
- Define reproduction and explain its importance
- Identify the major male reproductive organs and state their functions
- Identify the major female reproductive organs and state their functions
- Differentiate between sperm cells and egg cells (ova)
- Describe ways of caring for the reproductive system
