What is a Metal?

Metals are solid materials obtained from a natural product, known as iron ore, found in some places under the earth.

They are substances with a shiny luster, which can conduct heat, electricity, and be beaten into different shapes or rolled into flat sheets. This property of metal is known as malleability.

They are sold as sheets, bars, rods, tubes, and angles.
