- Types of Workshop Accidents
In workshops, there are different types of accidents that can occur and these include:
1. Gas Leakage: Inhaling leaking gas like carbon monoxide fumes and any carbon compound can be fatal.

2. Injury from cuts: This happens when sharp-edged tools are badly applied when working.

3. Fire Hazards: There are two types of fire accidents to be considered. Electrical fire and Chemical fire.
(a) Electrical Fire: This occurs as a result of electrical sparks and overloading of a circuit leading to heat.

(b) Chemical Fire: When there is an oil spillage, the risk of fire is high.

4. Ear problem due to sharp sounds.

5. Fall from height.

6. Suffocation: Smoke from fires accidents, or gas leaks, can cause suffocation.

7. Stepping on broken bottles or sharp metallic objects.
