Zacheus Obeys God’s Call to Repentance (Luke 19:1-9):

Zacheus was a rich man. He was a chief tax collector. He was seen by people as a sinner, and they informed Jesus about Him.

When Jesus was passing through Jericho, Zacheus tried to see him, but he could not because he was small in stature, and there were many people. Zacheus climbed the sycamore tree to see Jesus. Jesus noticed that and asked him to come down, He said to Zacheus, “Today, I will be in your house.

Zacheus demonstrated genuine repentance. Jesus said to him, “Today, salvation has come to this house because, he is also a son of Abraham. Zacheus repented of his sin, and promised to return all he has collected wrongfully from people.
