Service can be defined as the work or duty done for a company, government or any organization.
Religiously, it is a rite or ritual.
A call to service in Christianity is an invitation to come and work in God’s vineyard (Church).
Also, service is doing some work which one is called upon to perform, or volunteers to do.
In service, one is expected to do the work with all his or her heart, mind and strength.
Therefore, faithfulness, loyalty and accountability, are three important moral values that one must exhibit, in order to make his or her service to God, man and our country acceptable.
