Identification of the Names of Community Leaders

Every community has its Leaders. The Leaders ensure the community members abide by the rules and regulations of the community. They also punish people who do not obey the rules.

Different tribes in Nigeria have different names for their leaders. In Yoruba Land, the leaders are called Oba or Baale, Igbo leaders are known as Igwe or Eze, and Hausa leaders are known as Emir or Sarki.

As our tribes vary so do the names we call our leaders. The thing all leaders have in common is they maintain peace and order in the community.
