The Birth of Isaac (Genesis 21 :1-8)
When Abraham was ninety-nine years old, God promised Abraham that his wife would give birth to a son.
God also commanded Abraham to be circumcised, along with every male in his household, and to circumciseCircumcision is the surgical removal of the skin covering the tip of the penis. The procedure is fairly common for newborn boys in many parts of the world. Penis before and... More all future male children born to his household when they were eight days old (Genesis 17: 10–13).
When Abraham was a hundred years old and his wife Sarai was ninety years old, she gave birth to a son. Abraham named his son with Sarai Issac. When Issac was eight days old Abraham circumcised him because God had commanded him to do so.

Sarah was overjoyed with what God had done, the Bible says in Genesis 21: 6-7 (NKJV);
Sarah said, “God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.” And she added, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age.”
Genesis 21: 6-7
