Self-reliance means to be self-independent and have the ability to work with little or minimum supervision.
Also, it can be defined as the ability to depend on oneself, rather than relying on other people to achieve a goal.
Self-employment is a way to earn an income and a living, express your individuality, and celebrate a sense of accomplishment. Entrepreneurs need to be self-reliant because this is a quality that is essential for wealth creation and productivity.
Self-reliance skills play a very important role in the entrepreneurship development of any country and promote other economic activities which lead to the development of a country.
In today’s competitive world, it is more important than ever to be self-independent and self-reliant, especially when it comes to earning a living.
The agency established by the Nigerian government to promote self-employment is called the National Directorate of Employment (NDE).
