Types of Rights Citizens Enjoy

As it is stated in the 1999 constitution, rights of Nigerian citizens are as follows:

1. Right to life.
2. Right to dignity of human person.
3. Right to a fair hearing.
4. Right to freedom of movement.
5. Right to personal liberty.
6. Right to private and family life.
7. Right to own a property.
8. Right to freedom of expression.
9. Right to freedom from discrimination.
10. Right to peaceful assembly and association.
11. Right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion.
