What is a Constitution?

A constitution is a legal document that guides the operation of a particular country. It is also a collection of fundamental laws of principles, rules and regulations through which a society is governed.

The constitution contains and explains rights, obligations or duties, election procedures, the functions of the official and lots more. The constitution of a country is a supreme law document.
