Formatting your Document: Allows you to change the appearance of your document.

Selecting a Text: You need to select a text before you can perform any operation on it.

Viewing Document: It is important to see what your final document will look like before you print, allowing you to check for any potential issues like page breaks, margins, and alignment that might affect the final printed version

Spelling Check Facility: Grammatical mistakes could be reduced with this facility.

Insert: Allows one to put pictures, graphs, designs and tables.

Others are: Scrolling, variable line spacing, word count, thesaurus, headers and footers, “find” feature to find words in a Microsoft Word document.
