This is the process by which information is communicated or passed from one person or location to another. For an item to be called information, it has to be passed from one person to another and from one location to another.
Humans have been transmitting information since the creation of the world. The ways by which information could be passed around are thus divided into two. Hence, we have Ancient and Modern means of information transmission.
