Types of Adverb

1. Adverb of Quantity

For example:

i. I saw our English teacher twice

ii. The headmistress comes here often

2. Interrogative Adverb

Examples:

i. Why are you late?

ii. Where are the boys?

3. Adverb of Degree

i. The old girl walked very quickly

ii. Indeed, the woman is too old to run

4. Adverb of Manner

Examples:

i. The cow ran slowly across the field

ii. Shade dressed gorgeously

5. Adverb of Time

i. Banji lost his sandals yesterday.

ii. Grandpa visited our hostel today
