“shall and will” are used when we are referring to a future action.

Examples are:

  • They will teach us well next year
  • We shall see the new teacher tomorrow
  • He will come here again next week
  • You will see me next month
  • I shall see my mum in London next week

Note: If you study the above examples, “shall is used in the first person singular and plural.

For example, I shall, we shall, while “will” is used with other persons; he will, you will.
