What is Drama?

A Drama is the expression of one’s mind in the form of a play that is meant to be acted on the stage, on television, or heard on the radio.

Drama is the only genre of literature that tells a story and is performed on a stage. Drama sometimes involves songs/music. It is divided into scenes and acts. An example of a text on drama is “The Rejected Child” by Tina Bogwu.

This is the story of the great Omowunmi Family brought down from success to failure by the irresponsibility of Ayo. The story opens with Kola’s education at the University of Massachusetts in the United States of America. He met Miss Ada Okafor, a final-year medical student, and proposed marriage to her.
