The passive voice or sentence shows what happens to something or someone.

Example:

The lorry is driven by him.

\( \scriptsize \underset{(\normalsize object)}{The\:lorry} \;\; \underset{(\normalsize verb\:/\:action)}{is\:driven} \;\; \underset{(\normalsize \:subject\:/\:actor)}{by\:him} \)

Passive voice can be used in different forms or tenses as shown below.
