The town boys were rough and tried to bully Emeka, one day, one of the boys picked a quarrel with him. Emeka was going home from the stream when he met the boy. Emeka had a water-pot on his head and he was walking in the middle of the path. The boy was coming towards him, also in the middle of the path. They stopped facing each other.

‘What do you want?” the boy asked, ‘why don’t you get out of my way? Do you want to quarrel?’ No, I don’t want to quarrel’ Emeka answered, the boy slapped him, pushing him out of the way, and went down the path. Emeka ran after the boy shook him and pushed him to the ground. Later that day, the boy and his mother visited Emeka’s aunt. The two women knew each other very well. When the greetings were over, the boy’s mother said: Emeka had hit him without any reason. “I did not know it was your nephew who did this to my son”
