The sum of the angles at a point is 360º.
In the diagram below all the lines intersect at the orange centre point.
a + b + c + d = 360º
If a = 80º, b = 20º, c = 100º, d = 160º
⇒ a + b + c + d = 80º + 20º + 100º + 160º = 360º
Vertically Opposite Angles:
Intersecting lines are lines that cross each other. The point where they meet is called a vertex.
