Natural water sources are those that exist in nature, not created by humans. They include both surface water and groundwater.

 Examples are:

b. Spring
c. River
d. Stream
e. Lake
f. Sea
g. Ocean

2. Artificial Sources of Water:

Artificial water sources are created by humans.

Examples are:

a. Well: Wells are dug or drilled into the ground by humans to reach underground aquifers (groundwater)
b. Borehole: A borehole is a filled shaft used to access groundwater.
c. Pipe-borne water: Pipe-borne water is water that is delivered to homes or businesses through a network of pipes.

Note: Some ponds are man-made. A pond can be considered natural if it exists in nature, meaning it’s not man-made, otherwise, it’s an artificial source.
