Health-related components of physical fitness are very important for the survival of any individual because they affect the health of people.

A well-balanced exercise program should include activities that address all of the health-related components of fitness.

There are six factors under this component. They are as follows:

Muscular strength is the ability of the muscles to exert a force to overcome resistance.

Physical fitness is the ability of an individual to perform routine (daily) tasks or activities very well without undue fatigue (excessive tiredness or weakness), and still have reserved energy for emergencies and recreation.

  • Cardio-respiratory endurance or Cardio-vascular endurance
