Crop Propagation.

Meaning of Crop Propagation:

Propagation is the process by which plants start to grow from the parent plant, to produce new plants.

It is also a process that involves creating new plants, from a variety of sources such as seeds, seedlings, cuttings, bulbs, and parts of their stem, root, or leaves.

Methods of Crop Propagation:

There are two methods of crop propagation namely:

a. By seed (Sexual propagation)

b. By vegetative organs (Asexual propagation)
