- Introduction – Description of Farm Structures
Farm structures and buildings play a vital role in safeguarding the lives, and properties on the farm. It is necessary to carry out a proper survey of farmland, before deciding on the location of the farm structure and building.
A farm is usually found close to the village where the farmer lives. Other farms which are far away from the villages have small huts, where the farmers can take shelter during the rainy season, or when the sun is hot. The huts are simple buildings, made with wooden poles, and thatched roofs of palm fronds or grasses.
