Although fish are the most common example of animals that live in water, many organisms live in water. Some are animals while others are plants.

They survive because of their adaptation. Animals that live in water are called aquatic organisms.

Fish is very important to both human beings and livestock and it is a very good source of protein.

The science, management, study, and rearing of fish, or fishes, is known as fishery. It involves the commercial rearing of fish in pens such as fish ponds, usually for food.

Fish is an essential ingredient for proper growth and development in man and animals.
