A chemical is a substance with specific molecular composition. Anything made of matter or anything that is considered solid, liquid, and gas is made up of chemicals, this means that nearly everything a person uses throughout the day is composed of chemicals.

Chemicals are used as a basic function of everyday life, they are combined in different ways, to create many commonly used substances, from the water we drink, and gasoline that provides automobile energy.
