Pyramid of Numbers:

This is a diagram illustrating the number of organisms at each trophic level in a food chain. In a food chain, there are more organisms at the lower trophic level than at the higher trophic level. This can be illustrated below:

Pyramid of Energy:

This is the diagram illustrating how energy flows, from one organism to the other, in a food chain. As energy flows from one organism to another, energy is lost in the form of heat. This is illustrated below:

Pyramid of Mass:

This is the diagram illustrating the increasing size of organisms, from one trophic level to the other. Organisms at a higher level of a food chain are often larger in size, while the ones at the base are smaller in size.
