The circulatory system provides an efficient means through which substances are distributed within the body.
The parts of the body which work together to ensure the circulation of oxygen, digested food substance as well as transportation of waste products from one part of the body to another is referred to as the circulatory system.
The Human Circulatory System consists of the blood vessels and the heart.
Structure of the Heart:
The heart pumps blood to all parts of the body through the circulatory system. The heart is a muscular organ that lies in the chest cavity and is almost conical in shape. It is made up of four chambers.
