What is Bronze?
Bronze is principally a reddish-brown alloy made up of 90% copper and 10% tin.
However, bronze and brass may also include small proportions of a range of other elements including:
- arsenic
- phosphorus
- aluminium
- manganese
- and silicon.
It was the hardest metal in common use during the Bronze Age and continues to be an important metal in modern times.
