Parts of a Triangle

Below are the parts of a triangle;

1. Base: The base is the horizontal side of the triangle.

2. Base Angles: The two angles at the end of each base are called base angles.

3. Vertical Angle: This is the third angle which is opposite to the base.

4. Vertex: This is the point at which the vertical angle is formed.

5. Height or Attitude: This is the perpendicular distance from the vertex to the base.
