All machines require a source of power to work. One of the ways of transmitting this power to the point of operation i.e. the point at which the machine will do its work is by ‘fluid power’.
Fluid power is the method of using pressurized fluid to transmit energy from one point on the machine to another point. This fluid may be liquid or gas.
