The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) is a federal agency under the Federal Ministry of Health, that is responsible for regulating and controlling the manufacture, importation, exportation, advertisement, distribution, sale, and use of food, drugs, cosmetics, medical devices, chemicals and pre-packaged water in Nigeria.
Before you can be licensed to import and distribute chemicals in Nigeria, you must be registered with NAFDAC.
The following are guidelines for the distribution of chemicals in Nigeria;
1. Application letter including the list of items to be imported should be addressed to the Director-General of NAFDAC.
