- Meaning of Receptionist
Who is a Receptionist?
A receptionist is a staff of an organization, who is usually in the waiting area of an office, such as a lobby or front office, and is responsible for receiving and directing visitors to the organization.
The receptionist is usually the first person a visitor sees, immediately after he or she enters an organization. This is because the reception office is usually located, near the main entrance of the building.
