These are practices that bank workers should have at the back of their minds when carrying out their duties in the bank. Below are some ethical practices which bank workers should comply with: 

1. Information about customers’ accounts must be kept secret (confidential) and should not be disclosed to a third party.

2. Customers’ accounts should be accurately kept.

3. Bank officials and management should comply with CBN Directives.

4. Bank workers should not aid and abet a financial crime.

5. Prompt reports of financial crime should be made to appropriate authorities.
