What are Correction Signs?
Correction signs are signs used when corrections have to be made by editors and typesetters in typewritten or handwritten work of which fair copy is to be typed. These marks indicate problems in the text and suggest solutions before a work goes for printing.
Correction marks come in two ways which are abbreviations and abstract symbols.
