The Sermon on the Mount is a Biblical collection of religious ethical teachings taught by Jesus Christ. This collection of teachings by Jesus can be found in Matthew from Chapters 5 to 7.
The Sermon on the Mount includes many familiar Christian teachings, including the Beatitudes and our Lord’s Prayer.
The sermon was addressed to the disciples and the large crowd of people who had surrounded Jesus when He was on the mountain. Jesus Christ taught the people these new messages to serve as a guide as to how they were to live Christian lives that would be pleasing to God.
