- The Passion – Introduction
The word “Passion” is from the Latin word “pati” meaning “to endure” or “to suffer.” The Passion of Jesus Christ refers to the last hours of Jesus’ life from His prayer at Gethsemane to His death on the cross.
The Passion of Jesus Christ was the highest point in Jesus’ Ministry and life on Earth. Jesus demonstrated his love to save mankind from living a life filled with sin, guilt, unforgiveness, hatred and the devil. Jesus did not fall into the traps and plots of the wicked religious leaders, He was able to enter Jerusalem triumphantly to fulfil His destiny.
