Creating Simple Objects In Paint

To draw a straight line: click line from the toolbox, click line width, drag the pointer to the drawing area.

To draw an ellipse: click ellipse from the tool box, click the line width, drag the pointer to the drawing area, click on fill colour and then click on the colour in the colour palette. Click the ellipse shape on the drawing area and fill the colour.

To draw a rectangle or square: click on the rectangle or square shape/tool from the toolbox. Place the mouse pointer in the drawing area, hold down the mouse button and drag to the right hand until you are done with it. Click on the fill with colour and then click on a colour in the colour box palette. Then place the mouse pointer in the rectangle or square and click to fill the colour.

To erase: click on select, place the mouse pointer above the shape in the drawing area, hold down the left mouse button and without releasing it, drag to your satisfaction and release. Then press delete on the keyboard to erase the selected shape.

To type text on a picture: click the text tool on the toolbox, select the font, size and font style that you want. Place the mouse pointer in the drawing area where you want to write the text and draw a frame. Then type the text.
