Title bar: This displays the name of the application program (untitled) when you save a file, the name of the picture file appears there as jpeg or in any other format.
Home: This contains commands to be used in paint including clipart, image, tools, shapes and colours. There is also an option to edit colours available for you.
View: This contains commands for zooming, ruler and grid.
Printable area: This is the area of the paint window which you can use to draw and colour pictures.
Tool Box: These are a set of tools which will help you to draw colourful pictures.
Hints:
Before you start drawing in paint, you must remember some of these tools and their functions.
To select a tool, place the mouse pointer over that tool and left-click. Then place the mouse pointer in the drawing area to draw.
To select a colour, place the mouse pointer over that colour in the Colour box and left-click.
One of the actions of the mouse is dragging. That action comes into work when you are drawing. To drag means to hold down a mouse button, and move the mouse without releasing the button to draw.
