The disadvantages of ICT include the following:

(1) It leads to job losses.

(2) It also leads to Fraud/financial abuses.

(3) Misleading and misguiding information.

(4) Computer Viruses, worms, Trojans, malware, spam, phishing – any or all can cause chaos and disrupt our daily lives.

(5) ICT tools may not be easily affordable. It may be too expensive for some people.

(6) Immoral and Pornographic sites exist which can corrupt the mind of the youth and vulnerable.

(7) Stealing of intellectual property.
