1. What does it mean to have ‘a goal’ as it is used in the passage?

Answer –  A goal, according to the passage, is what you want to become in the future.

 

2. What was the immediate goal of Jumai?

Answer – It was to excel in her promotion exam.

 

3. When did Jumai want to think about what she wanted to become?

Answer – SS Three

 

4. Why did Jumain need to think about her goal in JS Two that she was?

Answer – To think of what she wants to become, right now, so that she can study towards it.

She needed to know what subjects to focus on, in Junior secondary school, to help her with her subject choice in secondary school.

Answer – ‘ Your goal’, your future career, like an engineer or doctor.
