- Revision of Numbers
Natural Numbers: are whole numbers, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14… that we see and use every day. They are called counting numbers or positive integers.
Integers are any of the positive or negative whole numbers including zero.
e.g., -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, +1, +2, +3,….
Whole Numbers are the natural numbers plus zero. e.g. 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8………… etc. There is no fraction or decimal part.
Odd Numbers are numbers that cannot be divided exactly by 2, e.g. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11,…..etc.
Even numbers are numbers that can be divided exactly by 2 (without any remainder) e.g. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14…. etc.
