(a) 3a2by and 2a2 b2 y2
(b) 4ab and 6b2

Solution

(a) 3a2by and 2a2 b2 y2

Screenshot 2023 12 11 at 05.48.20

 HCF = a × a × b × y

= a2by

(b) 4ab and 6b2

Screenshot 2023 12 11 at 10.15.50

HCF = 2 × b

= 2b
