What is a Plane?

Plane: A plane is a flat surface 

Vertical Plane: This is a plane perpendicular to the horizontal surface. Examples are the walls of a room, windows, and door frames. 

Horizontal Plane: This is a plane that is parallel to the surface of the ground e.g., the top of a table, the surface of liquids in a container, the floor of a room, etc.
