Objectives are the purpose and end results of carrying out an action. They are the expected results that one starts to get at the end of certain endeavours.

Objectives can be categorized into what is expected in the near future, and what is expected after a long period of time.

Goals (also known as Aims) are ideas of the future or desired result, that a person or a group of people, envision, plan and commit to achieving.

Objectives are short-term while Goals (and Aims) are for long-term expectations.
