Bush Burning has many adverse effects on the farmland and environment which include;

1. Exposure of soil to agents of erosion.

2. Loss of animals inhabiting the community. 

3. Destruction of properties. 

4. Loss of forest reserve, from which we get timber, for building houses furniture, firewood, and medicinal substances. 

5. Environmental pollution as a result of smoke emission.  

6. Destruction of plant communities.
