Isometric Axes

An isometric drawing is built around three lines called isometric axes, this comprises a vertical axis and two receding axes. Note that the two axes are at angles of 30Â° and there is 120Â° between the three axes, they are called the isometric axes and on them, the drawing is built up.
Vertical lines are drawn with the right angle of a set square and lines at 30Â° are drawn with a 30Â° set square.
